Our nurse practitioner injector will evaluate your concerns and determine the muscles responsible for your unwanted lines. This solution is injected directly into the muscles with a fine needle. Only a few precisely placed BOTOX® Cosmetic injections are needed to prevent or treat wrinkles.

Multiple areas can be treated at once, and you can combine your BOTOX® Cosmetic injections with dermal fillers during the same session.

Is There Any Downtime After BOTOX® Cosmetic?

This injectable comes with minimal downtime. In fact, many patients choose to get their BOTOX® Cosmetic done on their lunch breaks before returning to work.

While you will not have to “recover at home” following your injection, you will need to avoid strenuous exercises or massages for at least 24 hours. You will also not want to lie down immediately after treatment, as these activities can cause BOTOX® migration.

Most patients only report temporary redness and soreness following BOTOX® Cosmetic.

When Will I See My BOTOX® Cosmetic Results?

You may start to see your BOTOX® Cosmetic results in as little as 24 to 48 hours; however, it can take up to a few days, with final results appearing a week or two after your treatment.

The length of a BOTOX® Cosmetic session depends on the number of injections and areas treated. Most BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment sessions take less than 30 minutes to complete.

Do I need to prepare for my BOTOX® Cosmetic session?

There is little you need to do before your injection. You will be asked to avoid aspirin and any other blood-thinning medication and need to inform your injector about any bleeding disorders or infections you might have. Also, patients should not be pregnant or breastfeeding.
