Hi, I’m Joshua Halpern, I’m a board certified plastic surgeon. I’ve lectured for the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Women who want breast enlargements want a certain size, fast recovery, and a long-term success. I pioneered the bloodless breast enlargement, I invented the Halpern lighted retractor, which is used to perform the surgery.
This is the Halpern breast lighted retractor that I designed years ago. Here it is connected to a light source. When inserted into the breast pocket, it allows the surgeon to have a very high degree of accuracy in dissecting out the pocket.
Blood loss is typically half a teaspoon or less. Patients typically don’t bruise. It’s not uncommon for them to be driving two days after surgery and going back to work three days after surgery. I have a lot of patients who are surgeons themselves and they typically go back to work and are operating on their own patients five days after surgery.
This is a letter from a patient of mine. She flew down from Connecticut, she’s 25 years old. She went from an A cup to a D cup. This was taken the morning after surgery at the beach. This is a 38-year-old patient of mine. The before pictures are on top, the after pictures are below. You can see what a very natural result she received, as well as a nice elevation to her breast. This is another one of my patients here, she’s posing for a Playboy shoot, which was in one of their magazines. Another patient of mine, as you can see, before surgery, she was a tiny little A cup, after surgery, a nice medium C cup. This patient said she had no breasts, she called them free floating nipples because she said she did not have any inframammary folds, and you can see how nice she came out in her after picture.
For me, it’s not about size, it’s about shape. Here’s a person who went from an A cup to a nice B cup. This is another one week post-op picture of a 53-year-old who had anatomic gummy bear implants put on top of the muscle. Also note, no bruising. Another before and after, went to a nice full B, small C cup. This is a patient of mine, she was very embarrassed about her breasts before surgery. After surgery, she became a model, and the person who sent me this picture was her mother.
